QQI Advanced Web Design (using WordPress)

I chose this course to improve my ability to design and understand the concepts of designing a website without coding, and after reviewing my options, CMIT seemed to be the best for my needs. So far, this course has proved to be an excellent choice.

The course was well-structured, practical, and aligned with current industry standards. I appreciated the flexibility of online learning and the clear, step-by-step guidance provided throughout. The assignments allowed me to apply what I learned in a real-world context, especially through building a full website. Tutor Feedback was constructive and helped me improve my design and UX skills. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience that has prepared me further studies and creative work in web design and media

I wasn’t very equipped with web design skills at the start, but the CMIT module has been really helpful in breaking things down step by step. The content is practical and well-structured, and with the support of my tutor, I feel more confident each day. I believe that with continued effort and guidance, I’ll definitely get there

As someone with dyslexia completeing courses is very difficult especially when the material is hard to decipher so web design was an act of bravery for me! This course has been surprisingly easy for me to understand and follow along, it’s given me some confidence I even think I could possibly do it without the need for a tutor however i think it’s great service provided and great to have the comfort of asking for guidance.

The course so far is covering exactly what I was looking for.

Overall, I found that my course, QQI Web Design Using WordPress (6N2532) 2023, was well-organised and very user-friendly. Both the CMIT website and the eLearning site are well laid-out and very easy to navigate for a first-time user. Some elements of this particular course are quite technical in nature, but the PDFs provided on my course page, including the Course Manual, made completing both the written and practical assessment tasks a lot easier.

The course was informative and easy to understand. Enjoyed taking the quick quizzes.

Just to say that it opened my eyes into what is possible to achieve, I hope to take another course maybe next year, I firstly want to use this course for my next few websites, thanks.

I would recommend this course for anyone studying to become a web designer becase it is very well-rounded and all the basics were covered efficiently and adequately.

I really enjoyed completing this course. I like how the submissions dates are not close together, giving plenty of time to submit to get feedback, amend and resubmit. I feel having the opportunity to resubmit was where I learned.

The Web design using WordPress course has given me a greater understanding of how Web Design works which is extremely helpful I am about to start unit 4 and so far I have enjoyed this course thoroughly and am excited to carry on learning.
