FAQs

Have questions? You’re not alone. Here are answers to the most common queries about our courses, enrollment, and support.

What is QQI?

QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) is the organisation responsible for overseeing education and training qualifications in Ireland. It maintains the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), which has ten levels, and sets the standards for awards made in both further and higher education.

CMIT is authorised to offer distance learning courses leading to QQI awards, which are officially recognised on the NFQ. QQI also validates education and training programmes, issues qualifications across the Further Education and Training sector, and ensures quality assurance systems in colleges and private education providers are effective.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

An accredited course is a programme of study that has been officially recognised by a qualifying or awarding body. This means the course meets set standards of quality and rigor, and the qualification you earn is widely recognised by employers, professional bodies, and other educational institutions.
