CIW exams

How CIW Exams work

CIW exams are completed at home or work, at a time that suits you, using a proctored (supervised) exam. Your webcam is used to supervise you during the exam.
To book an exam click here to book your CIW test and complete the exam booking.
You must accept the CIW testing agreement which covers plagiarism, retakes, personal data and other policies relating to the exam.
As of May 2025, CIW exams cost $175 per exam.
There are specific technical and other requirements to complete the exam, and these are listed below.

How CompTIA Exams work

CompTIA Exams can be booked and taken via an online proctored exam with online exam specialists Pearson Vue.

Candidates will be required to agree to the CompTIA testing agreement which covers confidentiality, retakes, appeals and other policies relating to the exam. It is advised to read this before booking your exam.
Exams are computer-based. Questions will use some or all of the following formats depending on the specific certification being taken: Multiple choice (single and multiple responses), drag and drops and performance-based.

Project Management Professional (PMP) exams

How the PMP Exam works

To gain the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential, candidates need to meet the experience and education requirements and pass the PMP® examination.
The PMP exam is a 180-question, multiple-choice test with a duration of 230 minutes.
Candidates must first make an application to the Project Management Institute confirming they have met the requirements. Candidates can apply by clicking here.
If eligible, PMI will e-mail examination scheduling instructions with an eligibility code, which candidates will need when scheduling their exam appointment.
Exams are scheduled with a Pearson Vue testing centre. Click here to search for exam centres. There is an online proctored version of this exam available.
As at May 2025, the PMP application costs $555 and is payable on application to the Project Management Institute.

PMP Prerequisites

Candidates must meet one of the following:

A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent), 7,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.
A four-year degree, 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exams

How the CAPM Exam works

To gain the Certified Associate in Project management (CAPM)® credential, candidates need to meet the experience and education requirements and pass the CAPM® examination.
The CAPM exam is a 150-question, multiple-choice test with a duration of 3 hours.
Candidates must first make an application to the Project Management Institute confirming they have met the requirements. Candidates can apply by clicking here.
If eligible, PMI will e-mail examination scheduling instructions with an eligibility code, which candidates will need when scheduling their exam appointment.
This exam can be taken via an online proctored exam. Click here for details and requirements on sitting this exam online.
As at May 2025, the CAPM application costs $300 and is payable on application to the Project Management Institute.

CAPM Prerequisites

Candidates must meet one of the following:

A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent).
23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam.

Risk Management Professional (RMP) exams

How the RMP Exam works

To gain the Project Management Professional (RMP)® credential, candidates need to meet the experience and education requirements and pass the RMP® examination.
The RMP exam is a 170-question, multiple-choice test with a duration of 3.5 hours.
Candidates must first make an application to the Project Management Institute confirming they have met the requirements. Candidates can apply by clicking here.
If eligible, PMI will e-mail examination scheduling instructions with an eligibility code, which candidates will need when scheduling their exam appointment.

RMP Prerequisites

Candidates must meet one of the following:

A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent), 4,500 hours of project risk management experience and 35 hours of project management education.
A four-year degree, 3,000 hours of project risk management experience and 35 hours of project management education.

EXIN Cloud Computing Foundation exams

How EXIN Exams work

The EXIN Cloud Computing Foundation exam is completed at home or work, at a time that suits you, using a proctored (supervised) online exam. Candidates can choose between video or live proctoring. In the case of video proctoring, a recording will be made to objectively judge their exam performance after the candidate has taken it. With live proctoring, a proctor monitors the candidate in real-time.
The exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions in which candidates have 60 minutes to answer.

As at May 2025, the EXIN Cloud Computing Foundation exam costs €289.05.

CCSK – Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge exams

How the CCSK exam works

The CCSK exam is completed online at home or work, at a time that suits you.
The examination consists of 60 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 90 minutes. It is not possible to pause or stop the test once started, so candidates need to plan for 90 minutes of uninterrupted time to take the online text.

As at May 2025, the CCSK examination costs $395 USD. This entitles the candidate to attempt the test up to two times.

CCSK Certification

Once registered you can take the exam. The results of the exam are instant.
If you have passed, you will be able to download your CCSK certificate from your online profile.

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (CSSBB) exams

How the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification works

To gain the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification candidates must first make an application for approval to ASQ.

Once you have applied and been approved by ASQ, the examination scheduling instructions in your eligibility letter will direct you to a section of Prometric’s website, where you can select and schedule your examination appointment and location.
The exam is computer-based. It comprises 165-questions, and the duration is four and a half hours.
As at May 2025, the Six Sigma application costs $538 (for non-members) and is payable on application to ASQ.

Six Sigma Black Belt Prerequisite overview

Six Sigma Black Belt requires two completed projects with signed affidavits or one completed project with a signed affidavit and three years of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Body of Knowledge.

You do not need to be a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Work experience must be in a full time, paid role. Paid intern, co-op or any other course work cannot be applied towards the work experience requirement.

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (CSSGB) exams

How the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification works

To gain the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification candidates must first make an application for approval to ASQ.

Six Sigma Green Belt Prerequisite overview

Six Sigma Green Belts are employees who spend some of their time on process improvement teams. They analyse and solve quality problems, and are involved with Six Sigma, Lean or other quality improvement projects.
The Six Sigma Green Belt certification requires three years of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge.
Candidates must have worked in a full-time, paid role. Paid intern, co-op or any other course work cannot be applied toward the work experience requirement.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP Certification) exams

How the CISSP Certification works

To gain the CISSP certification candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and pass the CISSP exam.
CISSP Exams are booked and taken in an approved testing centre booked through exam specialists Pearson Vue. Click here to locate a test centre or book an exam.
The exam is computer-based. It comprises 100-150 multiple choice or scenario-based items with more than one multiple choice.
As at May 2025, the CISSP application costs £585 and is payable when booking the exam.

CISSP Prerequisite overview

Before booking your exam, you should confirm you meet the general eligibility requirements for (ISC)2 certification.
To qualify specifically for the CISSP certification, you must pass the exam and have at least five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the (ISC)² CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). How the CSSLP Certification works

To gain the CSSLP certification candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and pass the exam.
CSSLP exams are booked and taken in an approved testing centre booked through exam specialists Pearson Vue. Click here to locate a test centre or book an exam.
The exam is computer-based. It comprises 125 multiple choice questions.
As at July 2025, the CISSP exam costs €575.04.

CSSLP prerequisite overview

Before booking your exam, you should confirm you meet the general eligibility requirements for (ISC)2 certification.
A candidate is required to have a minimum of four years of cumulative paid Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) professional work experience in one or more of the eight domains of the ISC2 CSSLP CBK, or three years of cumulative paid SDLC professional work experience in one or more of the eight domains of the CSSLP CBK with a four-year degree leading to a Baccalaureate, or regional equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related fields.
If you don’t have the required experience to become a CSSLP, you may become an Associate of ISC2 by successfully passing the CSSLP examination. You will then have five years to earn the four years required experience. You can learn more about this on the CSSL Experience Requirements page.

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) exams

How the CISA Certification works

To gain the CISA certification candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and pass the CISA exam.

The exam is computer-based. It comprises 150 multiple choice questions, and candidates have four hours to complete the exam.
As at May 2025, the exam fee is $760 (non-members) and is payable when booking the exam.
Following the exam candidates must pay a $50 non-refundable application fee.

CISA Prerequisite overview

Applicants will be required to confirm they have 5 or more years of experience in IS audits, control, or security. Waivers are available for a maximum of (3) three years.

Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) exams

How the CISM Certification works

To gain the CISM certification candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and pass the CISM exam.

The exam is computer-based. It comprises 150 multiple choice questions, and candidates have four hours to complete the exam.
As at May 2025, the exam fee is $760 (non-members) and is payable when booking the exam.

CISM Prerequisite overview

Applicants will be required to confirm they have a minimum of five years of information security work experience, with a minimum of three years of information security management work experience in three or more of the job practise analysis areas. The work experience must be gained within the 10 years preceding the application date for certification or within 5 years from the date of originally passing the exam.
Applicants may be entitled to work experience waivers based on educational qualifications or previous certifications. For exams, CISA certification holders may use this as a waiver towards two years of security work experience. Learn more about CISM Requirements.

How MCSA and MTA Windows Server Exams work

Microsoft’s exams can be taken online at home or work through a proctored online exam delivered by testing specialist Pearson Vue.
Before booking an exam, Microsoft advises candidates to take a system test from the pc that will be used to take the exam.

How Microsoft Office Exams work

Microsoft Office exams are taken in an approved testing centre booked through exam specialists Certiport.

Exams are computer-based. They are ‘live-in-the-application’ exams which will require candidates to complete multiple small projects which test real-world scenarios.
To gain the MOS: Microsoft Office Specialist: Associate (Office 365 and Office 2019) certification candidates must pass any three of exams listed below. Candidates can opt to take and pass each exam individually to gain certification for that programme only.

Administering Windows Server Hybrid Infrastructure Exam

The AZ-800 exam measures the ability to complete the following tasks: deploy and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in on-premises and cloud environments; manage Windows Servers and workloads in a hybrid environment; manage virtual machines and containers; implement and manage an on-premises and hybrid networking infrastructure; and manage storage and file services.
The AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure exam is 100 minutes long.
As of July 2025 the price for this exam is €126.

Google Certification and Exams

How the Google Cloud Digital Leader exam works

The Cloud Digital Leader exam can be done remotely.
To book the exam you must first create an account. To do this, students must register via following page: Cloud Digital Leader Exam
If you are completing the exam online, you must first confirm you have sufficient administrative rights on your device to download all required software.

As of May 2025, Cloud Digital Leader exams cost $99.

How Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Certification works

The Google Analytics Certification assessment consists of 50 questions and you will have 75 minutes to complete it.
To pass the exam you will need a score of 80% or higher.
If you end the assessment early or the timer runs out before you have answered enough questions correctly, you will not pass and will not be able to resume from where you left off.
You must wait 1 day before retaking this assessment if you failed your last attempt.

CDSP Exams

How the CDSP exam works

The CDSP exam can be taken at a local test center or online with remote proctoring.
The exam contains 90 multiple choice and single response items, of which 75 count toward your score. The exam is 120 minutes long.
The exam will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to frame and answer questions by collecting, wrangling, and exploring datasets and applying statistical models and artificial-intelligence algorithms to extract and communicate knowledge and insights.
As of July 2025, the CDSP exam costs $367.50.
