Course Details

This online Mental Health and Wellness course is delivered via live webinars to employees in a closed group. Course content can be customised to meet the needs of each organisation.  After the webinar is delivered, employees have access to CMIT’s eLearning system to view content access additional resources and complete an assessment or test, which leads to certification.  The course covers topics such as stress, phobias, anxiety, eating disorders, and schizophrenia among others – all conditions under the topic of mental health.

The course includes:

  • Online Webinar(s) delivered directly to staff via PC – at home, work or mobile.
  • Access to eLearning resources which staff can access for 4 weeks after the course.
  • Access to a course Tutor during the webinars and following them to address any questions.
  • Access to an online testing module in order to become certified.
  • Certification following completion of the online test.
  • Learner progress updates provided to the employer.
  • Student Support Team available by phone/email.

Entry Requirements / Prerequisites

Assessment
  • After the webinar is delivered, employees have access to CMIT’s learning system to view content access additional resources and complete an online assessment, which leads to certification.
  • Following successful completion of the online assessment (70% pass rate), participants will receive a CMIT Certificate in Mental Health and Wellness).
Transfer and Progression of Further Studies
  • Students who successfully complete this programme may proceed to CMIT’s QQI Level 6 component certificate in Mental Health Awareness (6N2209).
