Course Details
This programme is designed for people who wish to gain a recognised qualification to enable them to begin work or improve their career in Medical Reception and Medical Administration roles. No prior knowledge is required. Students will learn how to: (1) manage front office services, (2) manage clinical administration, (3) use technology within clinical practices, (4) use and understand medical terminology, (5) work with medicine and hygiene, and (6) understand confidentiality practices.
The course is ideal for all those working in administration or customer service roles within Private Consultant clinics, Hospitals, Doctor or Dentist surgeries, and private Health Clinics.

Prerequisites
- No previous experience or qualifications are necessary to commence the course.
Assessment
- This course is assessed through a series of tutor
marked assignments. There is no exam with this course.
Accreditation
- At the end of this course, successful learners will receive a level 3 NCFE Award certificate in Medical and Clinical Administration. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. A UK Award at level 3 is roughly equivalent to a FETAC Level 5 Award.
