This programme is designed for Professionals who wish to develop their client practice skills. This course is suitable for practitioners of many different industries including Coaching, Counselling, Designing or Planning. The personal nature of these professional practices requires the practitioner and client to form a close working relationship, which enables them to carry out positive and constructive work together.

The course is ideal for all those working directly with clients in professional practice - including architects, designers, counsellors, coaches, solicitors, or other advisors.

 

With increasing focus on the quality and the competency of practitioners to practice in all professional fields there is a growing need for practitioners to continue their professional development.  As a result, continuing professional development is now considered a lifelong activity aimed at ensuring a high quality of professional service is maintained, and that learning and development needs are met.

 

Students will learn how to: (1) deliver ethical standards, (2) identify client needs, (3) devise a client brief, (4) plan and develop client proposals, (5) negotiate and obtain client sign-off, and (6) obtain feedback and develop improvement plans.

Entry Requirements / Prerequisites

  • No previous experience or qualifications are necessary to commence the course.


Assessment

  • This course is assessed through a series of tutor marked assignments.
  • There is no exam with this course.


Accreditation

  • At the end of this course, successful learners will receive a level 4 NCFE Award certificate in Advanced Professional Client Practice. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 4 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  • Please note that there is a EUR60 fee payable for administration, moderation and certification.
