This is a comprehensive Journalism course which provides students with all the skills required to source and write news stories for print.

Entry Requirements / Prerequisites

  • Students must be fluent in English.
  • As this programme is delivered through distance learning, students must be capable of studying on their own initiative.


Assessment

  • This course is assessed through a collection of work. This will require students to write a tabloid news story, a broadsheet news story, a court report, an incident report and a financial report.
  • All work submitted must be your own work. There is no exam with this course.


Accreditation

  • Following successful completion, you will receive a Diploma in Journalism from College of Management and IT (CMIT).
